Sports & Leisure Facilities
The Parish Council has facilities at both King George V Playing Field, Florence Carter Memorial Park and also Longdale recreation grounds.
The bowls club operate from their premises at King George V. Anyone interested in joining the club can contact Janet Chapple by email on janetchapple@hotmail.co.uk or by telephone on
01603 433495. New members are very welcome.
There is a 3G pitch which is managed on behalf of the Parish Council by Absolute Sport and Leisure. If you are interested in hiring this facility please contact david@absolutesportandleisure.co.uk
If you would like to hire any other pitches or facilities please contact the Clerk in the first instance.
Vendors using Council Car Parks
Any vendor wishing to trade from a Parish Council car park and/or land must seek permission of the Parish Council before doing so. Permission is at the sole discretion of the Parish Council. Appropriate regulatory documentation will need to be seen by the Parish Council in advance of a decision to allow the vendor to proceed.
HIRE OUR FACILITIES
The Parish has two facilities available for hire: Longdale Park and the King George Fifth Pavilion and Playing Field.
