Drayton Parish Council to take on Streetlights from Broadland

29 July 2022

From 1st August 2022 Drayton Parish Council are pleased to takeover ownership and maintenance of the streetlights that were previously the responsibility of Broadland District Council. The transfer of the streetlights to the Parish Council will be more cost effective for Parishioners, with improved energy efficiency and a faster response time to rectify faults.

The columns will have new grey labels displayed, with details of how to report issues directly to T.T. Jones, the Parish Council’s electrical contractor. The streetlights with yellow labels remain the responsibility of Norfolk County Council and faults should continue to be reported to norfolkstreetlighting.amey.co.uk.
